If social opportunities at a great clubhouse are what you want, go just a little farther north to Dahlonega and check out Silver Summit at Mountain Park. These folks were smart and built the clubhouse first, so that it's ready when the first people move into the community. They also have walking trails and have left 50 acres of trees so the deer and turkeys literally share the community with you! It's just a mile from Downtown Dahlonega, where there are quaint shops, restaurants, entertainment, North Georgia College (where you can attend enrichment classes!) and more. The Silver Summit at Mountain Park folks held an incredible Grand Opening in October to introduce the clubhouse, and they worked with a local caterer, musician and others to make a fun "Bluegrass" event. Check them out at www.silversummitinc.com

Your concern about not being able to see the clubhouse is shared by the homeowners and soon to be homeowners. We were led to believe the clubhouse would be started but as you have seen, nada.
