Best North Carolina Small Towns
North Carolina has some very best small towns to relocate to. Such a varied state is NC. You have the Western Mountains which are beautiful, the Beaches, the large metro areas and more. If you know of any NC small towns that would be good to retire, please post a description here so we will all know about it. The more descriptive the better but even just a name will help and we can look in to more details. What do you like about it?
There are some beautiful views in western North Carolina and the
weather is not so extremely hot in the summer. During October the
fall leaves were so colorful and the mountain and lake views
were great! I plan to visit again very soon.

i would like to find a friendly, artistic community on the east coast that is not too far north, but far enough that there would be 4 seasons. I picture a little fishing village, where there is good seafood pickings, and quaint little stores with cottage type houses, not tourist-tee. Okay if there is golf however I don’t play anymore. I will be a retired business woman with an art degree & enjoy diversity.

New Bern NC is a charming historic town near the coast of NC with two huge river converging in the downtown area. Lots of golf, good climate with 4 seasons,
45 minutes to the beaches. New Bern was the original capitol of NC and is a very quaint and beautiful place to live.
