Mountains.. As the business hub for Northeast Georgia, Gainesville's
daytime population is more like 100,000.
Town Report: Why retire to Gainesville? Close to Atlanta
but definately it's own town. It is highly rated as a retirement
area. It has a lively downtown with a square, antique shops
and nice restaruants. Almost every chain store and restaruant
is in the area. The Georgia Mall, the largest Mall in GA,
is not too far away.
